    phpBB3 is the best software for promotion forums, on other softwares promotion forums just don't work out I think.

    I hate them, they stop people posting, they lag the page, they use a lot of CPU. I could list 100 things why I hate them

    Yeah AJAX uses lots of CPU. Softwares like myBB, vBulletin etc uses quite a lot of AJAX. I think phpBB3 is the only forum software that doesn't use AJAX I like AJAX for a few things, but not for everything.

    Use lol for funny stuff, and roflcopter if I'm bored, ROFLMAO if something is funny But I use lol more than the rest.
