Clad only in swim trunks, China's Jin Songhao reportedly endured a freezing-cold ice bath for two hours -- potentially setting a new world record for direct, full-body contact with ice.

Why would this record need to be set?

I'd like to bath in a Ice Bath for a few minutes, sounds pretty nice, but not like the guy did, I'd like a bit of water and nice floating around.

He probably got paid off by the government to make headlines, so China can stroke it's ego on the national stage a little longer. It's like Edison electrocuting the elephant back in the day.
