What's the longest hour you've been on a transit?

A long journey is always very tiring especially when I make use of a bus to travel. I can't afford paying for flight for most of my travel. I'm stuck with road transportation often. The longest time I've been on a transit was 7 hours. My butt was on fire before I got to my destination.

Mine was a couple of years ago, and it wasn't "transit" per se.

We were stuck in a miles long traffic jam on I-55 southbound trying to get across the Mississippi at the crossing at Memphis not long after the I-40 bridge was closed, and the transportation people had no idea what to do.

We sat without moving on the Arkansas side, with the truck off, in park, for well over an hour at one point. All told, it took about three hours to go something like five miles.
