What was your worst experience at a fair or amusement park?

I've never had a horrible experience at an amusement park. My family went on vacation to California and I didn't care for Disney Land. It probably had a lot to do with the fact that there was a heat advisory out and that it was miserable out. I don't think we stayed long. We ended up leaving.

I got stuck at the top of one of those "rise up high, then drop you down" tower rides because there was a technical malfunction.

We were up there for ten minutes, and they apparently didn't have a speaker installed in the ride at the time, so nobody had any idea what was going on.

Damn, that sounds awful. I've always up for trying any rides but I've always been a bit reluctant to go on that ride. And the last thing I would want is to get stuck at the top lol.

I still haven't had a bad experience at a fair or amusement park (touch wood).

I'm glad you didn't get hurt and that you're okay. If that had happened to me. I think that would have been the last time I ever set foot on another ride at a fair or an amusement park.

Thank you. At least I'm used to heights. The State forestry observation towers are typically 120 feet tall.
