Being a relatively new addition to videogaming world, I thought it might be an interesting subject.
Do you think achievements/trophies affect the way you play games?
Personally, I find achievements really encouraging. The feeling of one more round is enhanced when you suspect shiny new gamerscore is just around the corner. I also check the list before I play (or own) the game, so I don't risk missing any.
This attitude, and my huge livrary, have garnered me 29585 gamerscore over the last 1,5 years (can anyone beat that?), and although I have long since surpassed all my friends, increasing the number is still important to me.
