I like and will try MOST anything. I have tried some things ONCE: caviar, anchovies, raw oysters; not going back for more.
Snails? Yeah I've never wanted to to try that one either

Yep, absolutely ridiculous prices these days! Everything's expensive, but Dennys is taking it to an extreme!

Speaking of Dennys I have a story about something that happened at one a while back...
One time I was eating at Dennys on a Friday night, I used to work the evening shift and would pick up my kid after work on Friday nights for the weekend (she was little then). She didn't mind because she got to stay up late on Fridays and always looked forward to it. Anyway we were eating at Dennys at around 10pm. This location had 2 dining rooms one in the front (where the entrance was), the kitchen was in the middle of the building and another dining room past that. I was in the back dining room and apparently a tweaker/crackhead came into the front dining room and grabbed a knife off someones table and proceeded to start cutting into his arm. I heard screams coming from the front room and then I saw a guy covered in blood with no shirt walk by in the kitchen holding a knife. Employees were screaming and running out of the kitchen too. Not knowing what was going on I thought he was over there MURDERING people! So I grabbed my daughter and we ran out the emergency exit, got straight into my car and started driving away. As I was driving away cops were swarming to the Dennys from all directions. I found out later that he only harmed himself and nobody else, which was a relief. I guess he was doing drugs in the nearby hotel and thought he got an air bubble in his veins (which can kill you), he went into the dennys to try to cut his arm off, when the steak knife on the customers table didn't work he went into the kitchen to find a bigger knife. It was quite the scary experience but at least I we got a free meal out of it. Lol, when that happened we were almost finished with our food anyway.

Wow! Yeah, I'd definitely have gotten out of there, too! No context and seeing all of that blood, you and your daughter could easily have been in danger. Glad he only hurt himself, though, that's one small mercy there! Had he been there with other intentions...wow!

Another time at Dennys I seen two employees start fist fighting each other in the middle of the restaurant. They were both young (18-22 years old I imagine). One was walking by and purposely bumped into the other one and they started fighting. That one didn't scare me, I just sat there and enjoyed the free entertainment.
Other customers got up and broke it up, I imagine they both got fired after that.

Indeed. So, in summary, with the amount of ghetto people who are attracted to Dennys and with their increase in prices, I don't go there anymore.

I think I went to one last year or the year before on my birthday, they give you a free grand slam (breakfast) on your birthday. You just show your ID so they can verify.

That's Canadian Dennys, looks like in the US you have to have the app and put your birthdate in. Ah well...I don't eat at Dennys enough to warrant an app download, lol
