Do you like any artists or bands that no one (especially in real life) has heard of? Well, one band I like that none of my real-life friends have heard of is Texas Faggott. If I tell them my favourite artists/bands (which I don't normally do), they'll be wondering who that particular band are

i am a HUGE fan of Julie Fowlis...............she is well known on the folk music circuit but not away from it

she is also my 'guilty secret' since my musical taste is normally more Black Sabbath and Rammstein and Metallica

Tomas Ledin, Peter Kent, David Kitt, Barbara McNair, Khan Linh, Niklas Stromstedt, Tommy Nilsson.

first one that jumps out at me is a woman called amanda palmer

favorite song of hers is runs in the family, but I also like the point of it all

she also was involved in a project with a friend, evelyn evelyn- a spooky story about 2 identical sisters. as well as the songs, their are 3 parts to the story " the tragic events", parts 1, 2, and 3

Si Cranstoun: I don't think he's well known in the U.S.; but, maybe he is in England.
He started out there as a "busker" (street performer); he's just SO cheerful.

Great! I have not heard of them before this; but then I have not been following country music lately. Sort of got turned off by some of the newer style I reckon. Maybe these two are well-known and popular in the "circuit"?, if not they should be IMO. Do they often perform as a team?
