A toddler's cool reaction to a lion's attempt to eat him through a zoo screen has gone viral on the internet.
On a visit to the zoo, curious one-year-old Trent approached an enclosure window for a closer look at lioness Lomela when the beast lunged at him.
Protected by the reinforced glass, the small boy did not flinch, even when the lioness snarled and bared her fangs at him.
When Trent backed away from the enclosure, the young child appeared awestruck after his close encounter with the deadly animal.
The clip was filmed by the child's parents at a zoo in Cheyenne in Colorado, US, and has been viewed more than 700,000 times on YouTube.
