Backpack or Shoulder bag?

Which do you prefer, Backpack (Rucksack) or Shoulder Bag (or over shoulder bag)?

Neither one. I wear a waist pack for easy access. Mine looks like the one pictured below except mine is black.

I have a backpack, but I tend to put too much stuff in it, so am buying a smaller over shoulder bag since, in the 2nd semester, I don't have that many lessons per day and don't have to take many folders and stuff so it'll be easier

I wouldn't call them shoulder bags, rather messenger bags although different brands have different names. Shoulder bag though

I like shoulder bags better as I think they're trendier than backpacks. I have a shoulder bag just to note

A backpack since I find it easier to carry and I find you can fit more in it.

It depends on where we're going. If we're on the trail, backpack for sure!

Backpack. It distributes the weight across your entire back and shoulders. A shoulder bag (I had one last year for school) is the worst thing ever for your back and shoulders.
