yes, i know, but what makes you think these senators get told the truth about things and just out right not get told anything about whatever it may be... you actually believe the administration and military / government personnel tells these senate committees and the members real information? the actual government agencies and military work for the president not those committees...

Yes I do believe they do not give us the real information but I do believe they give them the same briefings they give the president according to there security clearance.

Actually, the guys "who have bravely came out under government pressure not to" are the ones being prosecuted!

The guys who are telling you that it worked are NOT being pressured by the government not to talk. Just the opposite, the government wants them to say this.

That is my firm belief, but, I am always willing to allow I might be wrong. (I just usually ain't ) So, can you remember any names I can verify? Someone who came despite government pressure, to tell the story that this program worked?

Gentlemen,

We could go around all day as to whether Obama knew any of this as a Senator, and if he did, we could then go round all day about if he approved or not. I would like to point out it really doesn't matter...

He damn sure knew after assuming the Office of the President! And he damn sure has covered up any part that even might be considered criminal. Obstruction of justice, he is guilty as sin! So believe me, he agrees with the program.

For that matter, remember when he said he shut down the torture program? He forgot to tell us that "Renditions" were still going to be allowed...Must have slipped his mind.

Besides, at this point, what difference does it make? (Sorry Ms C, I couldn't resist! ) No one in DC seems to be the least inclined to call him on it.

For that matter, why even bother? He has admitted to an act that clearly violates the Constitution and his oath of office...targeting killing American citizens (without due process). He has admitted to this publically. And is anybody calling for his head?

He is literally getting away with murder...

And we are going to lambast him for being a liar? Gentlemen, where are our priorities?

Had a chance to think about it, never mind, I don't want any names. I know quite a bit about this program, certainly more than anybody else here...And I know I am not wrong on this one.

Besides, I am afraid the names you might have come up with were "Mitchell", "Jessen", and/or "Rodriguez". In which case you would have already lost...

And a small part of using those names is exactly why I know I am right.

In person they may appear to be nice guys but I sure hope they are not. I want them to be brutal with brutal and clever techniques to get the information. We need these kind of people and I for one am glad they are doing it. Or were doing it. But should still be doing it.
