Has anyone else had to deal with bad service providers? and what did you do about it? I would personally just cut ties with that provider and find somewhere decent that cares about their business and customers, How about everyone else :D

No point yelling at them since that's against the law.

Lol what law? Bad providers get yelled at a lot (check any telephone based job reddit for examples.)

Anyways, if they are bad I go somewhere else, if possible.

one in Australia was traced back because apparently he made a bomb threat to them.

I say if they’re in customer service they need to learn to deal with angry customers.

I've heard bad things about TalkTalk in the UK, to the extent that I wouldn't want to try them no matter how cheap they are.

Thankfully, the only real downtime I've had to contend with is when I'm switching provider - which I just take on the chin..

That's entirely different, the act of making a hoax bomb threat itself is a criminal offence in the UK under the Criminal Law Act and Malicious Communications Act. I'm pretty sure it would most likely be a similar story elsewhere..

..as for dealing with angry customers - try it. I've been on the receiving end of some nasty, vicious mouthed customers. Having someone describe themselves as being "incandescent" with the company that you represent, wishing ill will on you and your family, and being utterly powerless to try and help resolve the situation. I only managed 8 months in the role..

Like I get that they’re angry and I admit I lost a few friends due to how angry I can get when I’m crossed but I’ve NEVER involved someone’s family because in all honestly that’s a pretty dick move to involve someone’s family just because they’re frustrated at the company or the individual support team, I can’t blame you at all.
