High school: cellphones (partially, we could only carry low-end phones), FM radio tuners/MP3 players, gaudy jewelry in women

Girls couldn't wear shirts that showed their belly buttons ...if they raised their arms above their heads and stomach showed, that would be a violation too.
Also if they put their arms down at their sides, their shorts had to be longer than their fingertips.
