so, elsewhere today in a thread aboput hobbies i said i made models and showed a couple of pics...........someone said they would like to see more so here we go



i make mostly 1/12 scale motorbikes and 1/24 cars with occasional 1/72 aircraft....if theres a battery in the pic its for a scale comparison and its aaa battery

O.O How long does it take to build such a thing?

it all depends on the kit..........and how much detailing you want to put in it



the big truck took about 30 hours over 3 weeks.....that was a pain to do cos it was so big......i did a car trailer too to go with it,.........together its about 2 1/2 foot long

a normal sized car takes about 12 hours roughly....or about 10 days lol



but then again, on my modelling forum we have a 'weekend build'..........48 hours to start to finish...that makes it hard cos you have to wait for paint or clear coat or glue to dry before you can move on to the next bit...but they are dodges

.....im doing a lotus 7 racer.....nearly done but its a rush job

what sort of harley do you have, jazzy?..........i have one in my stash that im thinking of doing, just wondering if i have the same model as your real one

and i am thinking of doing a honda rc211 race bike soon too
