Honda RC211V Gresini MoviStar Team...........Daijiro Kato's bike from 2002/3

for those that dont know........Kato was 2001 250 world champ.........moved to 500 (what is now moto gp) the following year with the Gresini team............he had a major accident at Suzuka in Japan in 2003...........died 2 weeks later........the FIM retired his race number after that.......how the marshalls coped with the accident caused a controversy at the time and Suzuka have not been allowed to host a GP since

considering how dangerous bike racing is, (Kato was the last rider to die in Moto GP.....2003.......the one before that was 1993) it dosnt have that many fatal accidents

Trade Federation Assault Tank from Star Wars episdoe 1

my modelling forum have had a group build going, the theme is star trek or star wars...had this in the stash so decided to use it as a practice piece to try some weathering techniques to create rust on plastic and try and make a 'used' example

aaa size battery so you can judge the scale of this thing.....biggest thing ive ever built!...lord knows where im going to put it cos its too big to go in my display cabinets

Wow! I'm not used to seeing something so large from your workbench. I really like the weathering techniques on this. I would imagine it's very difficult to get this result on plastic.

Do you have any tiny men to man all those things?
