not my best...absolute dog of a kit to put together............didnt like the paint much either, instead of my normal airbrush i used an automotive paint in a rattle can to try it....Vauxhall metallic ice blue

im a member of a 'what-if' model forum..............the plane nearly did exist......it got to prototype stage before they decided to build the Me 262 instead................the idea is sound too...........the British merchant navy really did do something similar in the war which is how i got the idea

in what way?



the kit didnt come with any so they were some from my spares box................i think they were originally swiss or french ones but i removed the relevant flag...
 
they are the right colour/design etc for french/swiss cars......they came from a Ferrai 575 kit which had about 10 sets of plates for a variety of countries

it was actually a weight saving reason........if the vehicle weighed less they could carry more gear such as fuel, water, ammo, etc..................the 'can' on the front is a condensor......allows coolant boiling off from the rad to cool and return to the rad
 
Man.. dude I think you and a member of mine should seriously meet up! You two could probably do some amazing work together!

Humvee 'guntruck' of the style used in Iraq in the late 90's when they found that they had to add additional 'armour' sourced locally in Iraq to try and protect the occupants ..............which of course went rusty rather quick

I saw some real army vehicles last Thursday.
 
I still havent started my model making kits yet. Keep meaning to, I love these, Especially the armed jeep!
