What movie would have been better off never being made and why?

Anything related to Avatar: the last air bender or legend of korra

I liked them both.

Any sequel to a movie that doesn't have the original actors in it, for the most part. The Twilight movies. And I'm guessing, though since it hasn't been released yet, the Fifty Shades movie. Plenty of remakes of movies that were perfectly fine and did not need remakes but got one anyway. Terminator 3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I think I could go on on and on. xD

Tonto had a dead bird on his head.

Need any more be said?

Well.....

The studio admitted this week it faces losses of up to $190 million (£124 million) on The Lone Ranger, which stars Arnie Hammer in the title role and Johnny Depp as his trusty sidekick Tonto.

Yeah, OK, maybe Disney's shareholders would agree that maybe they should have passed on the dead bird.

I never saw this flick, but it looked horrid. I mean, JD is a good actor, but he's just taking on some silly roles that don't do anything for him or his reputation as an actor.

How about one from this year?

The Legend of Hercules

The thing tanked.

I had wanted to go see it. But after the commercials and the reviews, I'll wait for it to hit netflix.

If you never saw “The Legend of Hercules,” don’t worry, no one else did either.

The film only made $18.8 million at the domestic box office on a $70 million budget. The foreign market threw in another $38 million to bring the film’s overall gross to a little under $57 million.

While “The Legend of Hercules” made a solid effort to break even, it still lost 19 percent of its budget at the end of the day.

Haven't seen any decent film being made based on greek mythology and history yet, so why should this make a difference? :P I did enjoy '300' even though it had potential for more.

The second Ghost Rider movie.

Ender's Game. Everyone got all hung up on how homophobic Orson Scott Card is. Well he's old-fashioned, I'll grant you that, but that movie could have tried so much harder to be true to the book, which was actually really good.

Most of the reviews went something like this:
The title is unpronounceable. There was no appreciable plot. Most of the dialogue was beyond innane....

The public, voted with their feet and watched the wall to wall coverage of the 'supercouple' on the TV celebrity shows for free and skipped paying for a ticket.

However, it did score big in one category, see below the box office returns.

Starship Troopers...besides being one of the worst films ever put to celluloid, I would just love to know who in their right mind ever thought to let Paul Verhoeven get his hands on the screenplay for that POS because whoever it was really needs to be locked in a room with the Bugs from the book of the same name for all eternity....:@:mad:

Most sequels and prequels. :Faint:

...keyword "most" / some are good.

Agreed...there are a few exceptions to the rule there: Aliens, Terminator 2, etc.,etc.,...
