Bodycam records officer saying a woman run over by Seattle police had ‘limited value’

…yeah, it’s requesting that I sign in to confirm my age as it’s age restricted…but I’m not registered to sign in, though….
:cautious: Bummer!

…ahh, that’s a restricted vid, sadly so I can’t access it…that all sounds terrifying, though…but it does feel as though ‘serve and protect’ is not something that is trained anymore…obviously in the U.K., like every other aspect…we only hear of these isolated negative incidents…we don’t have the balance of positives….our own police force, though has become something that the public aren’t trusting anymore…
I am not sure if you use iOS or Android, but this is the youtube client I use because I dont trust Google. But you should be able to watch it in the app.

They are awesome because no login is required and you can port over you watch lists and channel lists over to the app and you never have to log in. I have used this app to replace the youtube app on my devices.

I also downloaded the video but I am not sure how to send it.. it is 106 MB in size..

I heard that Giuliani might be the reason why police unions are so powerful.. supposedly this happened after 9/11 when the country was basicslly fellating his ego just because he was the mayor at the time.. he was also incredibly corrupt.. but it was under him that the NYPD started functioning exactly like a "family business" if you catch my drift.

And it was alleged that he was very heavily involved with many of those businesses before and during his tenure as mayor..

@passenger ….I found this article, passenger…i don’t know if itreflects the contents of the vid in any way or if it’s not connected…?..
Gotta be the same guy??
Looks like @Black Angel has a better idea to get around that YouTube restriction. :)

There are a few of them out there.. the one in the video mentions a former officer who worked with the MPD.

But there is another guy out there with no background in law enforcement who is training them to shoot first and ask questions later, but I forgot his name. It might be in the other episodes of Last Week Tonight that covered the police..

There are quite a few and they are all good.

Also I think NewPipe bypasses restrictions for location. I have a few British and Canadian channels in my Interior Design and DIY channels that would normally require that I use a VPN on YouTube.. no vpn necessary on NewPipe..

@Black Angel …thank you so much for that link…I haven’t had a chance to check the app yet but I will do…

And I forgot to add, that in this country SCOTUS has ruled at least 3x since 1985 affirming that the police have no legal obligation to protect the citizens.

Castle Rock v. Gonzalez

DeShaney v. Winnebago County

Warren v. DC

were the rulings in question..

We also saw this with the Uvalde massacre. So our tax dollars are literally being wasted on the police for their salaries, and again when they abuse their power and we have to pay out the civil suits against them.

I heard that Giuliani might be the reason why police unions are so powerful..
I thought it was before 9/11....that said, police unions came up following all the police strikes of 1919-1923 and there was a compromise: elected officials got the police to stop striking (and made it illegal for them to do so, wink wink!) - in turn, police often get the best benefits of municipal/county/state employees (some of which I have no problem with given a lot of the things cops have to encounter/go through most days).
