College kids are partying with gallon-size jugs that they call “BORGs,” which stands for “blackout rage gallon.” They purchase gallon-size water jugs then add alcohol, a color sweetener and an electrolyte supplement to help avoid hangovers. However, too many of them are winding up in the emergency room. Forty-six University of Massachusetts Amherst students were hospitalized during a pre-St.Patrick's Day “BORG” challenge.

I wonder how many of these parents really know what they're paying for. Or, if they knew, would they continue footing the bills.

Plenty of people binge drink and drank way more than a gallon jug's worth.

However having a gallon jug guarantees binge drinking because finishing it is the goal.
