So I won't eat neither anymore due to my carnivore lifestyle, BUT...
Back in the day, we used to hear that brown rice was better because white rice was bleached and stripped of nutrients, etc. However I recently have heard the opposite. Brown rice can cause some digestive upset, whereas white rice is much easier on the gut. So if you have gut issues or sensitivities to fiber or certain plant toxins, the white rice will be gentler on you. But if you can tolerate brown rice you will derive a little bit more in the way of nutrition.
I know this doesn't answer your question but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.
Brown rice helps support a healthy gut biome, which (a) aids in digestive health, (b) lowers inflammatory factors that can add to our health woes and (c) helps better regulate blood sugar. Now, it does provide for more regular bowel movements which, if you do suffer from diverticulitis or IBS, isn't a good thing. By and large, though, brown rice is better than white rice but you can eat both.
As a flexitarian, I gotta' push back on that, my friend. High meat consumption (especially that of beef) can be a detriment to health (more cholesterol, more fats, etc.) and its' increasingly becoming an environmental drag also.

I eat and like both white and brown rice.
Brown rice is healthier, but I believe that even the healthiest foods can be unhealthy if consumed excessively due to the quantity. I think everything is good as long as you know when to stop and how much you've had. There are exceptions depending on individual health conditions, but I'm talking only about someone healthy.
Growing up, we didn't eat much rice compared to pasta, but we had white rice. Over time, I learned to enjoy brown rice, and now I cook it as well. I think it depends more on the dish you're making, not all dishes pair well with brown rice.
