not really, I am just trying to understand the logic. It seems from the news I see that when a citizen uses a gun and kill someone in defence the person is seen as kind of a hero, yet whenever there is a police shooting people go crazy.

If it is an ignorant question it is not intended on being so.
 
no, it just depends on each case and how things happened...

not all cop shootings are unjust, therefor not all citizen shootings are unjust as well...

but, if you break the law, then you break the law, regardless if you're a cop or not...

defending yourself or your dwelling from a threat is not the same as police excessive/unjust force...
