Cheating seems to be a normal part of relationships nowadays so there is a high chance you get cheated. And if you do get cheated, are you able to forgive to your man or girl? Let's play out scenarios.

Girl/guy cheaters on Boyfriend/Girlfriend. What do you do?
Husband/Wife cheats on their partner, what do you do? (you have kids)

I had an ex wife that was a serial cheater. We had kids. I loved her despite her flaws. I forgave her many times before we divorced but enough was enough.

I never can forgive the cheating to someone, who can trust my life to her.

I don't think cheating is a normal part of relationships nowadays.

I don't think I could forgive my wife if she were to cheat on me. I went all in on the relationship, we bought a house together and we made sacrifices for each other, and for either one of us to betray that, it'd be difficult to put the pieces back together.

Far from normal

I've actually seen many relationships survive cheating, even though most of them end in separation. Usually, the circumstances and attitude of the guilty party determines the outcome. Was this a one time case of letting one's guard down and did they come and confess immediately with great remorse? Or were they living a double life for months and are only "sorry" now that they've been caught?

And did they get defensive when confronted? Or did they very reasonably ask “How can I make it up to you? How can I regain your trust?” and show a willingness to compromise on other things?

I don't know. It depends on the circumstances of the cheating, perhaps.
