Can you forgive your cheating partner

I just watched a movie where the man forgives his cheating partner. Do you think this can also happen in real life? I mean would you forgive a partner who cheated on you? Well, I don't think I can be forgiving to a cheating partner.

I've gotten that too. Relationships are so hard to maintain. The do's and the don'ts are so blurred with the women I was with

I did it for myself, but still dumped him though.. and doing so made it easier for me to move on with my husband.

So, my take on this is slightly different. If the people in the relationship are younger, say 18 to their mid 20s, if they cheat, give them another chance. At that age, you're still stupid and prone to make mistakes. However, if someone who is later 20s or older cheats, no second chance what so ever. By the time you reach your 30s, there is absolutely no excuse for cheating and they don't deserve forgiveness.
