If someone trusts me enough to tell me a secret (no matter what it might be), I would never break that trust by telling anyone else.

I have the capacity to keep a secret, and keep somone's confidence/trust, but I don't usually allow myself to be available for 'secrets', because a lot of the time there is dishonesty, or non-transparency involved that I don't like being complicit in. So I usually suggest to those who try to confide a secret in me that they refrain from telling me, and rather instead choose to be open about whatever the matter is.

It really depends on the secret. There are some that I have kept for people for years. Some I blab the instant I turn my head.



The only secrets I have really been able to keep are my own.
