Cheese!

Very difficult question for me to answer. I simply love all kinds of cheese.

For the record.

THIS is cheese:

This is NOT cheese, and it is barely even food:

Individually wrapped processed American Cheese..... isn't even really cheese.

But what exactly is American cheese? I suppose it’s that exact question that gives it such a bad rap. The American cheese that you find on supermarket shelves isn’t cheese made in the traditional way (milk that’s formed into curds and pressed). Instead, it’s either a blend of cheese and additives, or it’s a highly processed mixture of ingredients such as water, milk, milkfat, milk protein, whey, food coloring, flavorings, and emulsifiers.

I agree! It's like a couple molecules away from being plastic. :P

For the record, at the moment I am in love with pepper jack cheese.

RE: Cheese!

Mild cheddar. I don't have much of a taste for strong cheeses, though I do like edam and red leicester.

RE: Cheese!

I haven't seen it in the shops for a while now, but there use to be this black peppercorn white cheddar cheese I use to get..... it was amazing.. the best grill cheese sandwiches ever.

That looks good! I'd try it if I seen it at the grocery store.

RE: Cheese!

I don't like Limburger because of the nasty odor (stinkier than the bottom of your sweaty bare foot).

The cheeses I like are Havarti, Feta, Mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan, Provolone, Jarlsburg, Gouda, Muenster, Manchego, Swiss, Cheddar, Colby, and Pepper Jack.

I was telling my GF about this cheese and she said that she wants to try it too. Where you buy it from Doc?

Anywhere that sells that brand should have it, or something like it.

Around here, ACME has Heluva Good.

Safeway has their store brand of the same thing.

We have safeway, thanks Doc.

Thanks but I dont think I'll be ordering cheese through the mail. :P

RE: Cheese!

I like white American & pepperjack. What kind of cheese I get usually depends on what I'm eating though.
