Can't complain. Working at my daughters school today. I sat & ate breakfast with her then walked her to class. I said I'd be working outside during recess & she could come see me then too.

That's great man, how was the breakfast? How's her teacher? And, of course how's your daughter, growing up fast huh?

They gave her cereal & Graham crackers because they ran out of French toast. Her teacher is on maternity leave so I haven't met her but the sub seems cool. Kid is good & in 2nd grade now. Last week was the 1st week of school.

Schools used to get out in June and start in September but the last couple years its been out in may / start in August. I don't know why.

The schools here open the day after Labor Day and get out in the middle of June. Not looking forward to getting stuck behind all the school buses!
