I'm so disappointed I didn't get a picture of the moose. This is only the second one I've seen since living here for over 3 years. They are so BIG but they are very sweet tempered. Oh well, better luck next time....if there is a next time.

I thought I heard the moose come back so I just went outside to check. It wasn't the moose. It was just some wild turkey passing by. Maybe the moose is looking to have a turkey dinner tonight!

You get an awful lot of wildlife passing by... any snakes yet?

The wildlife here is just amazing. That's the benefit of building a home in the woods. I see all different types of animals and some I have no clue what they even are!

Thank goodness I have not seen any more snakes!

I'd love to live where you do, it must be so quiet and peaceful.

It is very quiet and peaceful here. I swear sometimes you could hear a pin drop it's so quiet. I also like waking up to all the different birds singing in the morning. When the weather permits, I like to have my coffee and breakfast out on my deck. The best part is having no neighbors for miles around.

It sure is and I bring peanuts for the chipmunks and some stale bread for the birds. I get a lot of enjoyment from my woodland paradise (as I call it.)
