Yo folks. Kind of wound up being a depressing day yesterday. As that Pit Puppy we had was claimed by its owner. Had been hoping we might wind up keeping her. But sadly, not meant to be.

Oh and it wasn't 'abit of blood' it was bowls full... Mum measured 1 litre whilst the medic was at the house and another 2 bowls full at the hospital.



And like I said. He is paralysed from the neck down and a head injury. - Not your average patient.

Yo folks. Kind of wound up being a depressing day yesterday. As that Pit Puppy we had was claimed by its owner. Had been hoping we might wind up keeping her. But sadly, not meant to be.

I'm glad the puppy was reunited with her owner. You did a wonderful thing by keeping the puppy safe. I'm sure the owner appreciated your kindness.

So Nigel is coming home tonight, The head nurse basicly bullied my mum into bringing him home. Saying they are refusing to put a camera down and find out the cause of the bleeding - which they also state wasn't blood - but they also don't know what it was.

Say that mum will have to sign some form because of doctors refusal and because none of the doctors or nurses could understand what Nigel was saying. and if they put a camera down they could tear nigels oesophagus or bowels (I think she said) basicly said if that happens it's all on my mum not on the surgeons.

She then turned around and said that Nigel has no quality of life!!!!! WTF is she to judge that?!



When mum asked what tests they had done to find out the problem they have only looked at his notes.



Then she ranted and raved that nigel is wasting a bed and there are more sick people that need care.... which is true in a way but we still don't know why he was coughing up litres of blood - which was blood, I saw it.



So basicly they haven't even looked at him, just dosed him up with anti sickness pills.



So yea, bottom line is if you want decent healthcare and to be treated like a human being in England - Pay for BUPA , the NHS sucks!

There used to be, but goverment cuts meant the closure of the hospital, Now there are only ordinary nursing homes or the main hospital. There was supposed to be a replacement but it never came to light.



8:30 pm and Nigel has only just been brought home.



I found out the real reason why there was a 4 hour wait. Ambulances queued up at the hospital. Not enough space and beds in the hospital meant that patients had to wait outside in the ambulances. That meant no ambulances could get out on call. The guys that just brought him home stated that our call out was one of the highest prioties... So yes it took 4 hours... Good job he wasn't bleeding to death!!
