having to change my email, then I had to set up a direct debit, thought it would be easier online.... WRONG! Just filled out the form in the end, send it in the post tomorrow.

Yeah, one of the sad short-comings to posting your pieces on a writing forum is that the only reason that people post in a writing forum is because they want to get THEIR work reviewed, so it takes awhile before someone does anything.

Well, yes and no, on one-hand, they aren't always looking to actual be "swept" away by another writer's work, but on a writing forum, I'll get the opinion of fellow writers. I try not to take that for granted. So far, so good, I posted the short-story in Off Topix's Creative Writing section.

The weather outside for me is fine, but my power randomly decided to go out in the middle of Demon's Souls, and my computer decided it was going to be a dick and take an hour to start up.

Very stormy weather here today, Can feel it, Loads of places in the county have had storms but I haven't heard/seen one yet

Heavy rain to day but can't complain. The weather is still cool in the low 70's. Had to actually put a blanket on last night as the temp was only 50 F.

I was sent a T-Shirt from Chicago University, and a giant hardback book from Washington, D.C. I just took my ACT test, so that's why. I just wish that I knew if either of them were actually interested at all or if it was all just automated.

I'd go with automated. Can't imagine anyone doing that much work by hand.

Yeah, I mean, I absolutely doubt that anybody "personally" did it, but I wonder if they at least had it organized at all. Like, they sent it to me because I met a certain percentage on my GPA or my ACT scores met certain qualification. Or if they just saw that a kid took a test and said, "Send 'em a giant hardback book!"
