My phone's battery lasted poorly when it had the stock POC aka Gingerbread. CM11 is better in that aspect. One of the reasons is that the BCM21553 CPU sources weren't public in the past, so me and other S5830i users had to deal with the fact 4.0+ custom ROM's needed other sources different from the binaries for Android 2.3.X.
