Human brain is hard-wired to feed on negativity, to remember every negative experience you ever had and to dismiss positive ones. It's a genetic leftover from the past where death could come from any side and at any moment, so nature rigged the human brain in a way that enables humans to learn from their mistakes.

Also, I should note that every time I write "human brain", I get the urge to write "human brian" instead. Thanks, Family Guy. Thanks a lot. :p

That's deep.

It's true. Humans are more likely to learn their lesson if beaten with a stick every time they do something wrong as opposed to being caressed when they do something right. The grotesqueness of the human nature at its finest.

So what am I posting on this thread for then..............

Finally got my car back from the garage - £550 / $675 -ouch!-

Thats true…. That’s why kids are so out of control these days. Schools only want to give them positive reinforcement and pretty much zero punishments. If you have no consequences for your actions, then you’ll continue to behave badly. See how far you can take it!

Any weekend plans? 🤔

I might do some writing, play Jeopardy 2003, web surf and watch YouTube vids.
