Fire and Emergency NZ are asking that Aucklanders only call 111 if there is a threat to life overnight as they deal with an estimated 1500 calls.

Eh, I think some perspective needs to be given there. Yeah, they missed their concert, but people are in real danger, a concert can happen another time.
Not when this was Elton's last visit to New Zealand. :/
