Possibly, what's your chipset and what cooler are you using? My new computer's CPU got to 89c during a COD Modern Warfare II session. Is that bad? Do I need a better CPU cooler??

I consider myself computer savvy, but this new rig I just bought apparently heats up quite a bit. The processor can technically reach 100c before you have issues, but you could boil water at that temp. lolHaven't a clue myself, hopefully a computer savvy person sees your post!
Yeah, have to be careful. It's technically not overheating, but if you're running a stock cooler on a high end chip (particularly Intel chips), you might want to invest in something better. Whether it's an AIO or a new air cooler, you'd get better performance with a better coolerI consider myself computer savvy, but this new rig I just bought apparently heats up quite a bit. I'm not sure on the chipset. Maybe a Z690 (Intel)? It's an HP pre-built gaming rig. The cooler is apparently NOT stock, and I've only had issues with COD. Nothing bad happened, it just got pretty hot.Possibly, what's your chipset and what cooler are you using?
I'm definitely going to look for a better CPU cooler. 89c is pretty high. The graphics is an Nvidia RTX 3070.....Yeah, have to be careful. Yeah, I'd look for a Noctua or, if you're feeling adventurous, a Corsair H60 or so AIO.I'm definitely going to look for a better CPU cooler. 89c is pretty high. The graphics is an Nvidia RTX 3070.....
It's a 16 core Intel i9 12th Gen 12900.
I'm okay. Be more happy once I get rid of this blastard asthma cough. The doctor gave me some steroid tablets yesterday so hope that helps.
I've had it for about three weeks and it's not only annoying me but my family gives me dirty evil looks. lol
It started after getting a flu like thing and I only had that for a couple days but this is the aftermath of that. Having covid twice last year plus the issues I had with my lungs when I was a baby doesn't help.
Another mass shooting in Serbia in two days. 21 years old shot and killed 8 people and wounded 16 others. 1 police oficier and his sister and others. Of course, he was caught after 8h hunt after him with 600 police oficiers during night.
How'd that happen?I broke my TV![]()
