The amount of crap Horror movies these days... :/
I loved IT!
Agreed, that's why they're masterpieces and the modern takes are...not.I loved IT!
I think the best thing about the old movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th etc is there wasn't as advanced visual and special effects like there is nowadays so they had to try harder to get what they wanted.
I am looking forward to them remaking the classic Horror films such as Frankenstein, Dracula etc. Hopefully they take their time making those and not rush because by rushing they just make absolute shit.Agreed, that's why they're masterpieces and the modern takes are...not.
Yeah, it's a real risk. Could be amazing, could be absolute garbage. In fairness, translating old to modern can go well, the broadway show Fences, for instance, makes for a great movie, too.I am looking forward to them remaking the classic Horror films such as Frankenstein, Dracula etc. Hopefully they take their time making those and not rush because by rushing they just make absolute shit.
Wonder if they will ever make a remake of Nosferatu.Yeah, it's a real risk. Could be amazing, could be absolute garbage. In fairness, translating old to modern can go well, the broadway show Fences, for instance, makes for a great movie, too.
Oh I hope so!! I think something recently came out that was either Nosferatu remake or Nosferatu-based...but I'm blanking on what that was.Wonder if they will ever make a remake of Nosferatu.

I never got into the Conjuring movies, need to check them out. Same with Saw, I watched the first two and then lost interest. Should really see what came from the rest of them.Possibly.
I still need to see The Nun 2. Love those Conjuring movies.
They've got a new Saw coming out in cinemas. I've never seen any of the Saw movies in cinema except for the Spin-Off called Jigsaw.I never got into the Conjuring movies, need to check them out. Agreed, it's fun!I enjoyed the first Nun movie in cinema. Good to have a jump scare or two in a cinema![]()
Same. I went to see the original Saw movie with my sister because she was worried, I found it had a couple of jump moments and then it was just...sort of whatever. My sister was terrified, lolNo film has ever really truly scared me though except for the odd jump.
Real life hospital shows scare me more than HorrorsSame. I went to see the original Saw movie with my sister because she was worried, I found it had a couple of jump moments and then it was just...sort of whatever. My sister was terrified, lol
Understandable, some of those are intense!Real life hospital shows scare me more than Horrors![]()
And at least with movies I know the actors didn't die in real lifeUnderstandable, some of those are intense!
Yeah, it's reassuring to see that little message in the credits. No animals or people were harmed in the making of this movie, lol.And at least with movies I know the actors didn't die in real life
Except for perhaps The Twilight Zone which was a bit creepy especially with the real life deaths.
