So yesterday while doing a floor sweep at the store. I eventually wound up by the Cards area. And there was this lil ol' lady looking at I think birthday cards. And normally, I'm one that would just stand there and wait till they move. The thought of turning around and going the other direction hadn't occurred to me. So.. trying the tactic of being nice and polite came to mind. Which isn't something I normally do when it comes to floor sweeping. And what do I get for my trouble of saying 'Excuse me ma'am'? Her having a hissy fit.
Saying something along the lines of 'Oh well I guess that is more important then getting my son a birthday card.' When all she had to do was just move out of the way long enough for me to sweep by her, and then she could just go back to looking at the cards. I tell ya, just no winnin' with some people.
