@Boogie: You can take a small hand towel and soak it with water. Wring out the excess water and place the hand towel in the microwave for a minute. You just have to make sure the towel is warm but not hot enough to burn you. Then just place the warm towel on your shoulder. I do this all the time because I keep forgetting to buy a heating pad.
