Yikes! I understand, I have issues with my legs, tendons, etc. (not due to silly things, but due to cipro poisoning), so I absolutely understand how it feels to have incessant leg pain that just won't go away. I hope you get plenty of chances to rest of up today!

I have today and tomorrow off, back to work Monday. :)

I've always had problems with my knees, ankles, feet...since I was like 12 or 13. I've done some silly things when I was younger.

What is cipro poisoning?

What is cipro poisoning?
It's an extreme reaction to Ciprofloxacin. Those who have an adverse reaction experience extreme joint pain at first followed by increasingly crippling tendon degeneration. I took a grand total of two pills, just two, and the tendons in me knees are beyond repair. It hurts to walk, to stand for more than 10 minutes, and I can't climb stairs well anymore. It's not just Cipro, either, a lot of fluoroquinolones have done this to people, some are now permanently bed ridden. They now call it being floxed, or more officially Flouroloquinolone-associated Disability, FQAD.

Back by popular demand!

We have resurrected an old theme from several years ago!

Wober Legacy - Light Theme

Here is a preview of the Wober Legacy (Light Theme). For nostalgic members wanting to experience that classic look & feel we had before the Off Topix rebrand.

Also, we didn't have a dark version of this theme back in the day but we do now:

Wober Legacy - Dark Theme

Simply choose "Wober Legacy - Light Theme" or "Wober Legacy - Dark Theme" from the Style Chooser / Theme Selector at the bottom of any page if you want to travel back in time.

Enjoy! :)

That sucks, what kind of silly things were you up to?

Good afternoon all.

I always respond to your greetings but I get the feeling you don't read them. So this is a test: quote me :D

Aww, sorry you have to deal with that. Hopefully you live in a one story house.

Thank you :D

I have a 2 story house as well, love my house and my neighborhood but sometimes I wish it was a one story when I am feeling lazy and things I want or need are on a different floor.

Yeah, it's good for the extra exercise, lol, but there are days I can barely drag myself out of bed, let alone up and down stairs.

I never considered walking up the stairs exercise. My back is messed up so I have to go slow. If I run up the stairs, it'll start hurting. Maybe when I switch insurances later next year I can get my back fixed, or at least I can try.

Same here, my legs make it impossible to race up anything, but yeah for me it's exercise because it's quite torturous when the legs aren't working well.
