Do you put a sticker or something to cover your webcam, why or why not?

Nope, I'm not that fuss :) Anyway, I rather not have sticky marks on my devices unless they have built-in covers. My cams do not have covers on them.

Plus they cal look at my SEXY BODY :P

Yes. My webcam has a built-in cover.

I work as an IT Computer Technician and it always sort of bugs me when someone brings us their laptop for us to fix and the camera has tape over it. Like... these are work computers, we aren't spying on you. I just never understood the fear of people watching you through the camera. And some of those laptops had sliders to cover the camera anyways so they didn't need to put tape on it but still did.

I don't have a webcam on my main PC, and my laptop is only really in use for an hour a day or so, as a result I'm not that bothered about covering it up.

Just unplug it if you have a USB webcam and if it's built into the laptop you can always rip it apart :P

Nah, I'm not that paranoid.. Besides, what are they likely to see other tha...oh ??

Not on my personal laptop since I can't be bothered to cover it. Plus, I use WIndows Hello which means that if I tried to cover it, it might end up covering the little red scanner thingies (no idea what they are called) that scans my face.

My work laptop has an inbuilt thing to cover up the camera which I use all the time though.

I definitely do. I'm just paranoid about someone seeing me. It's unlikely I know but I still do it. The trick is remembering to remove my blocking method (e.g. tape, sticky note, etc) before my zoom meetings!

That is the first thing we do is put tape over it. I don't care for Big Brother & it irks me you cannot remove those programs. Similar to Alexa, Cortana. You can turn them off but there's been reports that they turned themselves back on. That is invasion of privacy & I do NOT care for that.
Same with Smart appliances. We don't activate them.

I installed a slider on my iMac webcam, but for any of my laptops, I really don't care.

Stopped using Windows Hello so I just disabled my camera completely using a Windows setting. No idea if it can be overridden or not by a hacker but it's good enough for me at the moment.

I have a piece of black electrical tape over my webcam. No sense in taking any chances, right?

I don't do this. I think if anyone was to see me on a web cam their computer would catch on fire :o

I have a web cam connected to my laptop for both live streaming and video game content creation purposes and also to chat with those who live in other countries as well or even family members. I can't say I tend to cover my webcam at all and have not felt I need to but I have heard the rumours you can be seen if you don't.

If you guys practice good internet security, your chances of running into someone hacking your webcam is slim.
