Cover your webcam?

I used to do a lot of Zoom calls and things like that, so I've learned to keep mine covered until I'm supposed to be on camera. No telling how many times I've been signing into a Zoom call at the last second and rushing around getting ready while I'm doing it. But anyway, you never know who is watching. Better to be safe than sorry.

If you guys practice good internet security, your chances of running into someone hacking your webcam is slim.

I think that there will always be someone better than any internet security I could attempt to do. I mean, they hack the government stuff and they pay big money to have that looked after.

Did you get caught in your underwear? LOL

The stuff people use to hack the government is significantly more complicated than what happens to the average internet user, as it’s a targeted attack made with billions of dollars of R&D.

The average internet user isn’t a targeted attack, and is mostly trying to catch low hanging fruit. Basically compare Mission Impossible to a purse snatcher trying to lead you into a dark alley.

If you don’t go on sketchy websites, dont click links in your emails, have antivirus, and use a VPN on public WiFi, you basically stopped 99% of internet attacks.

If you are working as a virtual teacher, it is a big NO to cover the webcam. It will violate one of the rules of the company.
