The Friday after Thanksgiving of this year I was taking my dog Louie to the vet. A guy ran a stop sign and hit the back quarter panel of my car (see damage in first picture below). After fighting with his insurance company, they took 100% liability and my car has been repaired. The auto body shop I used was wonderful and my car now looks like this never happened (see second picture below).

Yep. I've been in a motorcycle wreck that nearly killed me. It was not my fault, it was the fault of the drunk asshole who drove the car that hit me.

OMG I remember that. Someone gave the link to the local newspaper report at the time. That was such a horrendous time for you. Everyone @ FG was SO worried for you. I remember Pinky flying out to see you. Do you still keep in contact with her? I see her on facebook sometimes.

In crashes that nearly kill someone, typically you never recover fully. At least I know in my case I haven't. Physically and otherwise.

It's a miracle that you even survived that Smooth. You are one tough lady and that's what I love about you.

You're a fighter and you never give up. That is something I really admire. Lesser people would have a woe is me attitude. Not you.
