Do you have any demanding friends?



I have several. It's such a pain to be around them sometimes, especially if we're planning something. They demand more of my time than my family. There are the good times, but the don't balance out the stress of being with them.

People can only demand as much as you're willing to give. Since you only see them a month per year, they obviously miss you. You, however, have to set the limit not them.

I find friendship functions best as a two-way street. I wouldn't want to be in a friendship with anyone who demands all of my time without them giving anything in return.
