Do you download videos off youtube?



I'm not sure if it's legal, but I see that you can using Real Player, but you have to have the SP version or something...

Well, technically any YouTube video should be in the public domain, unless otherwise noted, so it should be legal

I don't download videos though, why should I?

Well it would depend on the niche of the video. Music video's one may download so that they can play at any time, w/o having to go onto youtube and finding it through that method every time.

You'd be better off just downloading it as mp3.

i very often download something as an mp3 off youtube since it might be something only available as a live performance................or for example only the other day i wanted a new ringtone for my phone of someone i knew i couldnt get normally.........dl it off youtube, sampled the bit i wanted and hey presto

Well I knew you could download songs and albums there from links they would provide in the description bar.

Doesn't have to have the link in the description box. You could just use a online Youtube to MP3 Converter to get the audio track from the video.

Yea, I get my music off of YouTube. That way you know it's not a virus.

I sometimes download video's of Youtube. There's plenty of site on the web that allow you to do it for free.
