I have heard some talk about how they don't like a particular sports because of one reason or another. Is there any sports that you are not comfortable with?

Formula 1. The sport's obscenely rich, it bribes--excuse me, charges exorbitant fees to race tracks, jet-sets to all the authoritarian hotspots of the world - and thinks they're so billy-badass that they turn their noses up at other single-seater formulas (yes, we Indycar fans, Henry, still remember Lewis & Jenson thumbing their noses at Indy a while back)....they think their balls are too big for their legs, they're arrogant pricks and its' become a boring procession most days.I have heard some talk about how they don't like a particular sports because of one reason or another. I can't stand the "noise" produced by "pro" wrestling crowds. Don't care much for the idea of the "sport" either.![]()
I think it's the toxicity in the sports fanbases that made me have a dislike for sports, like wrestling for example. It's very tough to just enjoy the product without having a bunch of rabid but loyal "fans" who hid themselves behind the keyboard spewing garbage on Twitter day in and day out.
Other than blood sports, not really.
Sure, there are some sports that have annoying fan bases (e.g. football), but that's not the same thing as disliking the sport itself.
I disagree. A lot of the fun for me comes from fandoms talking shit to each other and in general discussing/speculating what's gonna happen next or like any piece of drama. Though, unlike the poster you quoted, I actually do like WWE and its fanbase still. Idk their reason, but personally I like being in a community for something I really like, and it becomes less engaging without them.Yeah you could just watch the sports and enjoy them without talking to people online about it.
Sorry, but I'm with @Timeline on this one. Wrestling and other fandoms on the internet brings the community together without the toxicity from others.Yeah you could just watch the sports and enjoy them without talking to people online about it.
I know right, Ken? It's time to end @Nebulous' rule. I'm glad you've joined my side.Sorry, but I'm with @Timeline on this one. Wrestling and other fandoms on the internet brings the community together without the toxicity from others.
