I managed to pick one up just over a year ago. I was fortunate enough to be in the cafeteria at work when I overheard coworkers talking about how a New Zealand website had some in stock. So I checked and sure enough, they did. So I ordered their package deal which came with an extra controller, a charging station thing for controllers, a wireless headset and a copy of Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West. Which amused me as way back when my family got the first PlayStation we got the package deal that came with the original Gran Turismo.
I like it. Waiting for the games I want for it to drop. Final Fantasy XVI mainly.

Let's just say it's been a while since I've sat through and played hours worth of a video game, but this is the first one aside from FFVII Rebirth and Crisis Core that I've stuck with. It's good enough to get me back into gaming.How is that game?
I also just love Star Wars and I've been wanting to play this game since I learned there would be a second one!
I bought an Xbox Series S and then, a PS5 about a year and a half into its lifecycle. It was still rare then. I bought it online at Walmart, at that point, it was easy enough I was even able to reserve one for my brother a few hours later.
The shortage was fierce though. I remember working in retail, and across the whole point, I only ever saw a PS5 once - and that same day, there was a large line of people who wanted to fight over that single PS5, haha.
