In 2023, do you go to your local public library?

Why do you visit the library?

If you haven't been in a while, what stopped you from going?

No. Never cared to go to the library. A lot of people in town just go so they can use their computer lab.

A $210 fine for failing to return seven library books (I eventually returned six of the seven books, but after my last visit to the local library, I told them they could keep the fine).

Where I live, they'll actually give you a court date on it too if you don't return the books.

Haven't been in years but I drive by it sometimes. Its a huge beautiful building. Maybe I should pop in there some time just for nostalgia's sake.

Uh... thats not how fines work :P

Yes, I just moved to a new city a couple of months ago and recently signed up for the library here. It's actually a neat place with some super cozy low traffic spots. I've checked out a handful of books but never finished them because I lost interest. :( I'll read up on book suggestions, people will rave about them, and then I just can barely follow along?? I'm not sure why other than I'm stuck in a bad book rut... I do have an e-reader which is what I was reading books on instead of going to the library in the past but I mostly prefer physical copies, so I try and go at least once month and hope I find something good soon!
