Well,we are always fascinated with the moon. We have visited the moon various times. However, the idea of building a base on the moon is really intriguing. The fact remains that humans have always wondered about living on the moon, so what do you think?

I wouldn't be surprised if they ever did. I can see them doing a lot with the moon.

No, well at least not in our lifetimes at best

I think we’ll get there, but probably not as fast as sci‑fi fans would like. As a species, we still seem far more willing to pour money into fighting each other than exploring the unknown, and that slows everything down. But even with that, a lunar base feels like something that eventually becomes unavoidable.

A lot of the long‑term space tech people talk about, deep‑space missions, asteroid mining, and large‑scale construction, really benefit from having a refueling and staging point on the moon. The moon’s lower gravity makes it a perfect launch platform, and once the infrastructure is in place, it opens the door to a lot of things that aren’t practical from Earth.

So while it might not happen tomorrow, I do see us building a base on the moon at some point. Not because it’s a cool idea, but because it becomes a necessary step for everything else we want to do in space.
