I'm probably more of a "keep it to myself" person most of the time. I've gotten a bit more direct with age, especially with people I'm close to, but I still tend to pick my battles rather than call out every little thing that bugs me.
I think part of it is just not wanting to deal with the aftermath of conflict, you know? Sometimes it feels easier to just let things slide and move on rather than get into a whole thing about it. Though that definitely backfires sometimes when stuff builds up and I end up more frustrated than if I'd just said something in the first place.
Are you testing my memory or did you genuinely forget you asked this? Or maybe you're curious if my answer would change the second time around? Because honestly it's pretty much the same - I'm working on being more direct but I'm definitely not naturally a "tell it like it is" person.
