Do you worry about global warming?

How serious are the earth's environmental problems?

(1) Yes; we should do everything reasonable and possible to preserve this earth for future generations.
(2) Serious enough for answer #1

I think that dramatic climate changes have been going on for beyond centuries without our 'help'.

If we have advance warning, then we should prepare if possible; like...move the heck out of New Orleans. :arg:

Yes, global warming is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

It sure would be nice if we could put a stop to it and reverse the damage.

However, I feel that it's too late and the damage is already done. We have so many countries out there with governments who don't care & who are part of the problem. This is far too big a burden and a tremendous undertaking for a few nations to take on. It would help if we had way more countries on board willing to help out.

Except that during the Roman period the temps in Europe were warmer than they are now.

And there were Oak Trees in Greenland (where the name came from) when the Vikings were there, until the "Little Ice Age" put an end to that.

And when the Dinosaurs were around, all the misty eyed museum tour guides say "the Earth was Warmer and Wetter than it is today"....

As far as I can tell, Nero didn't drive an SUV to the Forum, and the Dinosaurs weren't real big on using coal fired power plants.

Nope. And…(this may be controversial) climate emergency is a load of round things. Climates change..it’s called the weather,

The best science we have tells us that to avoid the worst impacts of global warming, we must globally achieve net-zero carbon emissions no later than 2050. To do this, world must immediately identify pathways to reduce carbon emissions from all sectors: transportation, electricity, and industry. Somehow I doubt this will be achieved in 28 years. I worry a little for my children and their children, but I don't well on it.

Same here. Hopefully we'll have things figured out by then. If not, acid rain and gas masks will be normal.
