Evil Eye said:That doesn't mean a thing, Florida is many times bigger than New York. Instead, you should be looking at percentile population growth over multiple years. Judging by the map on page 3, Texas is indeed more popular than California, but Nevada seems to be the most popular state to live in. (See also the table on page 2.) This is of course the data from 2000-2010, so it's a little out of date, but it shouldn't be too bad. (In another six years you'll probably have the 2010-2020 data.)TRUE LIBERTY said:Apparently a lot since Florida just over took New York as the third most populated state and Texas is number two.
So, basically, California definitely isn't the most popular state to live, but Michigan (and a bunch of others) were still worse last decade.
The size of the states doesnt mean a thing. Its where people are moving to and where the wealthy and businesses are taking there cash. I so wish I could find the map showing the states and where billions of dollars is going when people move. Well anyways its business friendly and income tax free states. And California and New York are showing the biggest losses of cash from people leaving.
