This Ad For Scotch Is More Emotional Than Most Of This Year's Oscar Nominees. You might need a minute after this one...

What did you think of the ad?

I.

Freaking.

LOVE.

IT!

And, I agree.

And. I can relate to it.

When I worked at the prison, I bought a dictionary for an inmate who was taking English GED classes.

He couldn't read or write any language, but he spoke Spanish.

Later. When he got out. He got a job with a roofing company. And not long thereafter, I heard he was supervisor of a crew for the company on a job site.

Which means he more than likely, stayed out of prison.

What a great success story!

Aww, that was a heartwarming story of development. Now lets all get drunk and celebrate :drunk:

While I haven't been drunk in probably several years (in the commonly defined version of the term, it is quite possible I have been there in the legal sense as I have no unexplained tattoos, I know which state I left my van in (there is a story from years ago there involving Wisconsin), and I have never woke up in bed next to a zoo animal), I do agree with the general idea of having a drink in the name of Mr. Pagan's (yes that was his last name) success.
