Ever been turned into collections?

The hospital turned me into collections over small bills that they never sent me. I called the place in town and paid them over the phone. I was kind of annoyed over it.
It's absolutely frustrating to be put into collections, particularly when you're not aware of the debt in the first place. I don't mind paying my debts, I'm happy to do that, but I'm so upside down at this point in time because of the situation I was put in with my mother that things happen. Unannounced debts, though, the ones that just show up? To hell with those!
Thankfully, I've never had that experience.

Nope, never. My mom has, though, and so I got a lot of the calls from collections for her. Seventy-five percent of the time I just didn't answer. The other percent I reamed into them and told them never to call me again or just said I didn't know her. We have different last names.
